UNAIDS is leading the global effort to end AIDS as a public health threat by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.

As the single most comprehensive source of HIV and AIDS information in the world, they generate strategic information and analysis that increases the understanding of the state of the AIDS epidemic and progress made at the local, national, regional and global levels.

CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION

CDC is the United States leading science-based, data-driven, service organisation that works to protect the public’s health. Their recourses on HIV/AIDS include recommendations, guidelines, fact sheets, FAQs, statistics, and materials for prevention and research partners.

UK HIV/AIDS RESOURCES

FREE TESTING

Free HIV and syphilis test kits are available to people from certain areas in England. Depending on your eligibility there are 2 options for HIV testing.

During National HIV Testing Week (usually in February) and other periods of national promotion, the Department of Health and Social Care funds Freetesting.hiv to offer HIV and syphilis tests for people 16+ throughout England.

NATIONAL AIDS TRUST

National AIDS Trust is the UK’s HIV rights charity. It works to stop HIV from standing in the way of health, dignity and equality, and to end new HIV transmissions.
