We’ll innovate – alone and in collaboration – to change the way HIV and AIDS-related deaths are understood and tackled, making sure public services see, reach and protect the people who most need care.

The global community now has the tools to address new HIV infections, but HIV is still on the rise in eastern Europe and central Asia. To make sure no one is left behind in the global effort to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic, we’ve partnered with Gilead Sciences in a ground-breaking initiative called RADIAN.
There are 250,000 people in the US south who are living with HIV and are not on treatment. We’ve joined forces with Walmart to change the course of HIV in the United States with Breakthrough – an initiative to increase awareness and access to safe, convenient HIV testing and services.
A coalition to expand the diagnosis and treatment of HIV infections in men, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. Founded by the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, Unitaid, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, Johnson & Johnson and Gilead Sciences.
Coming together to tackle high HIV prevalence in the south London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham, The Foundation, Lambeth Council, The National Lottery Community Fund, ViiV Healthcare, Comic Relief, and Big Issue implemented the world’s first social impact bond focused on HIV treatment and care.
For people living with or at risk of HIV, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic raised the barriers to health and wellness even higher. As it threatened global gains against HIV, we launched a COVID-19 Emergency Fund in April 2020 to protect the people we’ve always sought to serve through HIV care, treatment and prevention.
